OK, now I’m curious, how many cars have changed wheel configuration between generations?
The top car is a tadpole trike, the bottom car has four wheels, but the fronts are narrow-track, making it closer to a delta configuration.
The best I can come up with outside of that would be the Morgan F-4 and the 4-4, where the 4-4 was a four-wheeler compared to the F-4 being a three-wheeler.

M-B G-class 4 & 6 wheelers
Landrover Defender 110 4 & 6 wheelers
Reliant had 3 & 4 wheelers
all i can think of other than Morgan

I guess there’s also any generation of truck that added a dually to the lineup (going from 4 to 6 wheels in a different way), or added a third axle (going from 6 to 10 wheels), too.
